FluxCMSPrivacy Policy
FluxCMS (“FluxCMS”, “we”, “us”), a product of BoostCyber, is a digital signage platform. It includes a web dashboard for creating and managing on-screen content, and the FluxCMS Player app for Android TV / Fire TV that displays that content on a screen. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.
The FluxCMS Player app (on your TV / streaming device)
The Player is an unattended display app. It does not collect personal information about viewers, and it does not use the camera, microphone, contacts, or location.
To pair a screen to an account and keep it running, the Player sends the following to our servers:
- A randomly generated device identifier (a per-install ID), so the screen is recognized across restarts.
- Basic technical information about the device — screen resolution, app version, platform, and browser user-agent string.
- Which content is currently displayed and when the device last checked in, for status and operator-initiated remote management (e.g. reload or reboot).
The Player only displays the content the account operator assigns to it. It does not read or transmit any other data from the device.
The FluxCMS dashboard (for operators)
When you create an account and use the dashboard, we collect:
- Account information — your email address and a securely hashed password (authentication is handled by Google Firebase Authentication).
- Content you create — designs, playlists, schedules, uploaded images and videos, and workspace / organization details.
- Operational data needed to run the service, such as storage and bandwidth counts and basic playback logs.
How we use data
We use this data solely to provide and operate the service: to pair screens, deliver and display your content, show device status, enforce plan limits, and secure and support your account. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Sharing and processors
We do not sell personal data. We share data only with infrastructure providers that operate the service on our behalf — principally Google Cloud / Firebase (hosting, authentication, database, and storage). These providers process data under their own security and privacy commitments.
Data retention and deletion
We retain account and content data while your account is active. You can delete content from the dashboard, and you can request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at the address below. A paired-device record is removed when you remove that display.
Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and stored with access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
Children
FluxCMS is a business tool, is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time; the updated version will be posted here with a new effective date.
